he explains:

• this photo is from today. you can see the east wall (the angled one w/ the roof on top), which is partially covered in zinc, although the zinc still has its white plastic protective wrap on. the wrap will be removed and the zinc will shine (actually, its kind of a brushed weathered finish) once in DC. you can also see the redwood rainscreen (the slatted wood) covering the bedroom/bathroom, and you can see the bedroom window peeking out from behind the redwood. you can also see the grasses on the green roof, and see a bit of the underside of some solar panels that are shooting off the top of the roof.

uhh, just watch out for the purple stuff.
