inman park superheroes

the inman park festival went down this weekend. one of the better festivals in town, it's short on the crappy copper art and long on beer and weirdos. the parade summed it up perfectly. a young democrats float (very good) and no young republicans float (even better).

a lot of folks in super-hero costumes. i don't mean just batman or wonderwoman. i mean their own made-up superheroes. like Dark Briefs Over White Tights Man. Or Bug Man. Or...well, i'll let the pictures do the talking.

klingon biker. sweet.

random sci fi guy. this guy might be my favorite b/c he reminds me of the kind of costumes my brother and i used to make as kids. rope together random stuff around the house in an attempt to pull together gi joe+luke (circa episode v)+buck rogers+transformers+aquaman.
