turkey day

greetings from niceville. dr wintermute, broseephus and the cheese are out for black friday shopping. they didn't get up at 4am for the doorbusters, but they did leave the house by 8am. i try not do anything by 8am on vacation except look at the clock and congratulate myself for being able to sleep in as long as i want. in fact, some mornings i wake up, read for an hour, and then go back to sleep. almost as satisfying as q-tipping my ears.

spending winter holidays in warm climates can't be beat. last year we spent turkey day in phoenix at my brother's place. this week it has been in the sixties every day.

so, i'm hanging with dr. w's folks, then the whole fam is meeting up in the evening to see a christmas carol. i was hoping for ninja assasin. at least we don't have to see the blind side.

i ate pie for breakfast today.
