While playing tourist in ny this weekend, we traipsed through times square. Passed by the Spider Man marquee. No sign of Bono or the Edge. Show is supposedly set to open in March.

Was pestered repeatedly for tickets to various tapings (including comedy central). I was a bit annoyed until I realize that the backpack I was carrying signaled Tourist pretty loud and clear. One guy handed me his flier and asked where I was coming from. "Upper east side. 89th and 3rd. Beta north," I replied, using my old (very old--I lived in NY almost ten years ago) address. He flashed me a bewildered look as I stomped past him.
